For Earth Month this April, Transoft launched ‘The Earth Challenge’ to encourage staff members to try out environmentally-friendly activities to spark reflection on habits, consumption, and environmental impact.
For every activity completed by staff members, Transoft committed to purchasing a tree from Evertreen, whom we’ve been supporting since 2022 in our carbon offset initiatives.
Transoft staff were encouraged to complete an environmental activity of their choice within four categories:
GARBAGE – At-Home Garbage Audit
FOOD – Plant-based diet
TRAVEL – Public & Active Transportation
HOME – Eco-friendly swaps
As a company, the environment is one of our key focus areas of corporate social responsibility. Evertreen’s tree planting projects not only focus on environmental benefits of combating deforestation and promoting habitat, but also on granting stable employment for local communities of farmers involved in the projects. By planting trees, we are not only contributing to environmental sustainability but also supporting local economies and communities.
